The Art of Justice by Marilyn Church, the most renowned courtroom artist, spans 4 decades of the most historic trials of our times.  It includes every important trial from Mark David Chapman to Puff Daddy and Martha Stewart.  These dramatic sketches depict the courtroom drama of notorious defendants, battling judges, lawyers and juries for justice.

It is, in many ways, the story of New York City seen through its landmark trials from the 1970’s to the 2000’s.

These drawings originally appeared in the New York Times and on ABC, CNN and NBC as well as every major TV channel.  The Library of Congress has collected more than 4,500 of her sketches in their archives and the Smithsonian has a large number as well.  The Art of Justice is a keep sake book for lawyers, art lovers, court watchers and true crime fans.
